Born on 5th January in Mombasa city and lived in Maweni town in a family of three, him being a single child. At the age of two weeks lost his father and left behind with a single parent to tend to, at the age of two years lost his mother too. He later moved to stay with his grannies that at that time still resided at the coast. It wasn’t long before his uncle who was said to have been a sincere pilot working for the government went and picked him up after having a dream being told to go pick him up and have him as his son. And at that point he had to migrate from his birth place and come reside in Nairobi. It’s been said that at the time of his conception music was also given birth in him, a gift from God. He began singing way back in nursery and went on with it till when he started composing and singing his own songs upon getting into the eighth grade. Upon reaching high school he was elected as the schools choir master even to go represent them in other schools after realizing the potentials that he had in singing and as a leader for the whole four years. He was also an actor, in the year 2008 he acted as the main character in a play called TOA LABEL, authored by Nelly Olang and directed by Victor Ber. The same year he began recording his music and performing part time while working as a customer care at TARA (Trust for African Rock Art). he later went on and joined Afrizo the band at Daystar University in bid to perfect his vocals, song composure and performing skills in music under the mentor-ship and training of Principle Hellen Mtawali. He’s also a poet, he writes poems in according to time and the situations he’s been through. He’s got passion in everything he does and values every moment and minute that he spends doing what I love most. He’s gets his inspirations from, Kirk Franklin, Don Mo en, Michael W. Smith, Christina Shusho etc
